Description of 1966 Lincoln Continental Coupe

*** Some of my pictures are not that good, working on better ones****
Selling my '66 Lincoln Continental Coupe. In 2005 she received a full frame-on restoration at Lincoln Land in Clearwater Florida.. The only thing that remains untouched is the beautiful Interior that looks amazing for its age. No cracks in leather or dash, heck even has a new old stock clock!!. I have extensive records for the car going back to the late '80s/early'90s. through today. Currently she is sitting on cheap 140 spoke 20" wheels that look great. Also have the original Steel wheels and hubcaps. Below is a list of receipts that I have related to the restoration and is not representative of all receipts and documents. Always Garaged!!!!

Car bought 11/29/04 from Lincoln Land where the car has been serviced for decades.

02/07/05 Title fees

03/15/05 strip chrome and motor/trans

05/11/05 Deposit for re-chrome

05/11/05 Chassis build. Hoses, Electrical, Suspension. Stainless Steel Exhaust

05/18/05 Fresh Paint with Multiple Clear Coats.

05/24/05 Re-Chrome Everything. Hand Restored Stainless Body Line Trims.

06/07/05 Transmission Removed Hot Tanked Rebuilt and Painted. Motor Removed Hot Tanked Rebuilt and Painted.

09/01/05 Miscellaneous Parts, Vacuum hoses Replaced.

09/15/05 More Chrome.

11/07/05 Payment On Build. New A/C, Radiator and Hoses

10/31/05 Install Motor And Transmission, A/C, Trans Cooler, New Brakes Including Lines, Master Cylinder and Booster.

She only needed fuel and regular maintenance from 10-31-05 until 12-14-15 when she started leaking transmission fluid from gasket.

12/14/15 New Battery, Coolant Expansion Tank, Window Switch, Transmission Pan Gasket and Trans Service.

08/30/16 Replaced Leaky Transmission module, A/C service and Charge.

The Bad: I will send you detailed pictures, message me with your Email address.

Passenger side quarter panel has a quarter sized (25 cent) chip from door coming out of adjustment and kissing the panel. I temporarily attached the chip, which fit like a puzzle piece and most people don't notice. Should be fixed though.

Electric Windows all work but are temperamental at times.

Front driver side seat shows wear but no cracks or holes anywhere.

1 tiny ding in passenger side body line trim.

Driver door wood trim panel shows wear.

Trunk carpet is original and shows wear.

Steering Wheel trim ring is loose.

Steering Wheel hub bearing needs replaced, doesn't affect driving only a little play.

Overall an amazing example of a 1966 Lincoln Continental. She has about 1000 miles on her since the rebuild and drives like new, AC blows cold and transmission shifts like a dream. Open to possible trades for another vehicle of equal value. Car is located in Tampa, Florida.
