Description of 1969 Lincoln Continental

This is a 1969 Lincoln Continental with brand new two-tone black and charcoal-gray paint. It runs and drives well. Needs very little. You could probably drive it anywhere on the Conteinent at a moment's notice. Tires are like new. it's got what I would call a high-school window-tint job. Not horrible, but not exelent, either. Roof is simply bed-liner. Not real vinyl. First year for the 460 big-block V8 with 500 lb-pounds of torque! The suicide-doors are really cool. Presidents John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon rode around in these cars. It started off as avacado-green. Now black and gray.

I thought of some more details which should be mentioned... there is definitely some rust in the undercarriage. There is also some body-filler in the lower rear quarter-panels. These cars are unibody (no frame/chassis). The brakes do pull to one side a bit, but work well enough to drive just about anywhere. The original factory interior is exceptionally nice. All of the glass is good with no chips or cracks. Air-conditioning belt is disconnected. Cruise-control doesn't work anymore. Amazing that they even offered that option 51 years ago. Heat works well, though. AM radio works. Power-antenna also works. Power steering and power brakes work excellently. It has rear air-shocks and a trailer-hitch (this thing could probably pull a huge camper-trailer down the interstate if you so desired).

I require a $500 security-deposit within 24 hours of auction's end, and remaining balance to be paid for within 2 weeks. By bidding on, or otherwise agreeing to purchase the vehicle it is acknowledged that it is being sold As Is with no warranty. Deposits are considered to be non-refundable. If you need some time to arrange shipping, I can store the car for a reasonable amount of time, but would like it moved before the snow flies here. I understand that these things take a bit of time sometimes, and am a reasonable guy to work with. I have contact information for a couple of auto-transporters if that is the route the buyer decides to go with.
Thanks for looking!
