Description of 1986 Mercury Capri T-Top 5-Speed non a/c car

Ive owned the car since 2010 and I am the 4th owner. The repairs. pgrades and mods are as follows:Engine: Current is out of a 1992 cougar XR7 with 89k at the install. ith upgraded 93 cobra spec heads and cam. ew high performance oil pump. ater pump. ouble roller timing chain. istributor. ap rotor. lugs. ires. tarter. GR. ater pump ALL hoses. erpentine belt. ension pulley. mog delete pulley. rass freeze plugs. el pro gaskets. RP head bolts. hermostat. nd and Upgraded to Mass air with a larger Meter out of a 95 GT mustang. The original engine and heads come with the car and ran fine when I pulled it. just went with another engine I had at the time ready to go in the car. The transmission was rebuilt with new bearings and gaskets and upgraded synchros and new ram clutch kit from 5. 0 resto with a new pilot bearing. lutch fork and a new FMS billet flywheel. ew steeda cable and firewall quadrant adjuster and I added an old school hurst shifter up top for the 80's feel. You can just change the arm if you want a normal short throw. Brakes are all new front and back. ront has all new brute stop cross drilled and slotted rotors. ipo pads. ew calipers. oses. earings and master cylinder. Back is new drums. hoes. heel cylinders and hardware and ill guarantee this is the best stopping fox body you've ever driven without a disk brake conversion. t stops on a dime and the parking brake works flawlessly and with hold this car at a 45 degree angle no problem. New monroe struts up front. nd the car was just aligned with the new struts less than a year ago and the car drives great with the exception of the tires need to be replaced. You definitely want new tires if you intend of driving this car a long distance or in wet conditions. Other than that I would drive this car anywhere and have no issues at all other than the tires.
