Description of 1980 Lotus Super Seven

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1980 Robin Hood S7 (a Lotus Super Seven recreation). Although not commonly seen on U.S. roads, the Robin Hood S7 variants enjoyed great success in the U.K. and Europe and the company remains active today, now bearing the name Great British Sportscars.

With a lightweight body of aluminum, stainless and fiberglass and a sprightly drivetrain these cars are a hoot to drive. Power comes from a Ford (Europe) 2.0 OHC crossflow four cylinder (which was used in Capris and Sierras) mated to a four-speed manual gearbox; there's plenty of power given the diminutive weight of the vehicle. The side-exit exhaust sounds great without being overbearing.

This S7 is fitted with a rather plush interior (for a Super Seven) and includes a full top and side curtains as well as a full tonneau should you choose to be extra adventurous and drive it in the rain. 22k miles since built. This Robin Hood offers a great fun factor at an approachable price point. Clear GA title.
