1965 Lotus 1600 Series 1.5 This is a very early Lotus Elan Convertible. It has the Lotus twin cam engine. Fitted with the correct dual Weber carburetor set-up. Original air cleaner, which is rare to see. This car was off the road for the past few years and will need to be serviced. The engine turns with good compression. Good body with nice body gaps. No signs of any repairs. The paint remains nice with minor imperfections. Original seats. Original wood Lotus steering wheel and gauges. The soft top is in good condition with a good clear rear window, no rips. Correct bows and removable side window pieces. The Lotus Elan Series 1.5 is a transition year. It has the pull up windows. Round Series 1 rear tail lights and other small details. This is a rare opportunity and once its sold its gone.
