Description of 1989 Lotus Esprit SE |
| Just got back from body shop to fix clear coat issues. Very Clean Car. Timing Belt and all other belts changed last year. Ac runs cold with occasional charge needed. Gets about 27-30MPH. Alpine CDE-HD138BT stereo/CD Bluetooth new installed with 4 speakers. Bluetooth Phone operation with remote microphone. Pandora/SirusXM USB Connect. 4VPreout. HD RadioPhone docking station. Instrument lights changed to LED!LED lights added to under door panels for night lighting at opening. Small oil seepage at the intake gasket that is not significant. Odometer is not working. Speedometer does work fine. Occasional driver as a spare car. Tight steering. Good Clutch(Replaced before I bought it) and Transmission. Removed the Butterfly exhaust valve next to muffler due to vibration noise. Smogged in California. Best value of all Lotus Esprit. No funky GM antilock brakes. Has original chip that is replaceable to raise performance. Can connect to a laptop with XP/downloadable software to diagnose any issues. Many Lotus websites and forums to support car owners. |
