Description of 1969 Lotus Europa

This is a Type 54 S2 non-federal model S2 Europa which has the lower and sleeker front fender contour in common with the Type 46 S1 Europa. The 54 introduced a bolt-in removable frame as on the Elan. The car is my tribute to the Lotus glory years of the mid-60's and the greatest race car designer/driver combination of all time, Colin Chapman and Jim Clark.
I completed a body off restoration including:
New chassisKoni shocksAll new suspension bearings and bushingsNew stainless steel brake lines throughoutAdjustable aluminum rear lower linksGordini hemi engine conversionWeber DCOE 40 Type 31 carburetors made in ItalyRed curly Koa wood dashboardRed leather English Moto Lita steering steering wheel with matching red vinyl upholstery.+1" wheel/tire combination with Revolution 6"X14" wheels and Yokohama 195/60 fronts and 205/60 rears. Tire diameters are the same as the Europa TC Special, no speedometer recalibration necessaryBanks Europa header and chromed alloy cam coverStainless steel coolant pipes
The car is located in Honolulu Hawaii. The buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. I have shipped 7 collector cars either to or from Hawaii via Matson Steamship Company with no issues. Matson have been in business for over one hundred years and ship thousands of cars to/from Hawaii and the US mainland each month. The cars are driven on to the massive cargo ships and stored below the main deck in warehouses and not exposed to the weather. All you need to do is contact Matson to arrange a booking to the West Coast Port of your choice -- Long Beach, Oakland or Seattle. The cost is approximately $1,000. Upon receipt of your payment I will sign off on the title and mail it to you and deliver the car to the Matson Terminal in Honolulu. The actual voyage is only 4 days, however, allow 3 to 4 days on each end for unloading and loading the large ships.
