Description of 1964 Lotus Super Seven

Lotus Super 7 kit car. Manufactured by Brunton …model Stalker XLBasically a street legal race car. No production car under $300K comes close to this performance and connection to the road. Never been raced but has been to open lap days at High Plaines Raceway. Not the most experienced driver yet was usually fastest car on open lap day. Taken care of and ready to drive…. extremely reliable…..needs nothing. Drivetrain was new at build and is basically an LS3 (430 hp), a tremic T-56 Magnum (the HD Version), and a GM independent rear differential, all easy to get parts. Bottom of one front fender broke off when got a flat as it was so close to pavement. Tires are good and comes with set of additional rims, and suspension parts. Never raced, never wrecked runs perfect. Will come with same seat that is on passenger side with adjustable track. am removing custom made for me drivers seat. Retired and buying a sailboat to travel the world for a few years so selling all toys. Ebay VIN cell said not valid Vin #. not sure....perhaps because its a kit car. so listed it as 1960s....yet its titles in Colorado as a 2014 with VIN # 21350514x0022
You can not match the performance of a Stalker for the money, or hardly at all for that matter. 0-60mph times range from 2.4 to 4 seconds and 0-100mph times are being clocked in under 5 seconds. The Stalker will leave you breathless almost every time you ride. Speed is only part of the equation. The turning capabilities are unsurpassed. The steering is quick and precise allowing you to pick, choose, and fine tune the perfect apex. The rear end is stable and tamed on and off the throttle. This combination gives you a car that not only pulls high G forces, but is controllable and forgiving on the edge of traction. When not cruising around the streets of your home town, you will see Stalkers on the podium in Autocross, Time Trial events, and passing race prepped exotics at weekend track days. The suspension is one of the biggest highlights of a Stalker. A good suspension design delivers excellent ride quality and superb handling, the new generation of Stalkers have surpassed expectation. The braking system features 4 piston Wilwood calipers front and hydraulic proportioning valve, and power brake booster. The front end features double wishbone setup with inboard shocks via push rods and rockers. The inboard shocks allow for big increases in motion ratio, using more shock and providing better damping and wheel movement controlThe rear end features double wishbone setup with inboard shocks via push rods and rockers.
