| For sale is my 1989 Mazda Rx-7 GTUs with 32. 00 original miles. There were only 1100 of this model ever produced. The GTUs is the rarest of all 2nd generation Rx-7s. I bought this car from the original owner who drove it only to the golf course and back for 23 years. Not knowing about wankel engines. he failed to let the car warm up properly and the engine finally locked up with carbon buildup. So when I bought the car. I had to have the engine rebuilt and I went with Defined Autoworks in Columbus Ohio. I did not want a turbo rx7(because I have a 95) but I wanted a strong running reliable rotary engine. The car is completely stock except for:Racing Beat steel lightweight flywheel. The interior is also in perfect condition with no broken plastic or damage on the seatsThe only things wrong with this car are. the clock works sometimes. the wipers have one speed. one of the spoiler pedestals has a small crack which is a factory flaw(not a big deal) This Rx-7 has never been abused and has been adult owned it's whole lifeand has been garaged it's whole life. It has not one spec of rust and was rustproofed by the original owner. If you search you will find a couple of very tiny rockchips. (25 year old car with original paint)I love this car and don't need to sell so please don't send me messages with lowball offers. I take great care of all my Rx-7s so the next owner of this car will not be disappointed. Don't hesitate to ask questions about this car. There are not many 2nd gen rx7s left in this kind of condition and it's rare. |
