Description of 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition

You are bidding on original 1991 Mazda Miata SE (Special Edition) Dark Green (or British Green), equipped with power steering, power brake, ABS, Air-conditioning.
Mileage is 67k that is very low for 1st gen. Miata.Originally, this car equipped NARDI shift knob, but Rubber part of Nardi Shift Knob melted down, so I replaced with genuine shift knob (NB). Handle of parking brake has wood handle still. (I can give you Nardi knob if you want. But no rubber attached.)
Also, it comes with color matched Genuine Hardtop. (I also attach "Hardtop Hoist" approx. $100.)

I can tell that Miata is one of best "fun" car. No much power on this car, but it has very light weight (less than 1 ton = 2200 lbs). Once you steer right, car goes right immediately. Very quick. Car does not have much power, but you can lead traffic if you want to. (But not like as highway cruiser. :-) ) Gas Mileage always over 25MPG even you rev up much. These are caused by because of "light weight".
When I purchased this Miata from Philadelphia at 2010 Mileage was approx 59k and I put approx. 7k on that at these 7 years.
Since then, I Replaced all Tires, Clutch, Timing Belt (inside Engine), All belts, Thermostat, New battery, Retrofit modification for air-con. I also installed HARDDOG Roll bar for safety purpose.
This Miata equipped with Tan Color Tonneau cover that was very rare option for 1st gen. Miata. (But, due to I installed Roll bar, it need to have little modification on Tonneau cover to use.)
For exterior, there are several color fading location on body and Small dents. I can notify that there was small accident to hit front right fender, because color painted over VIN# sticker. (There is little scratch at lower location of right fender in front of right front wheel as shown in picture.) Wheels are original and no major blemishes. Former owner replaced Soft-top with glass rear window. (it is better than Vinyl one)
For Chassis, I do not want to say NO RUST. It might have small rust on chassis. But, not as major. I did not drive this car when snow and salts cover the road.
For interior, I replaced Center console panel because it cracked and broken. Top of Dashboard start fading. Car audio is original, but CD player does not work properly. MY91 Miata does not have Trunk Opener, so I modified to add Trunk opener as original of MY92 (or MY93?) Miata. It works fine. Leather seats are in normal wear & tear condition, no rips.
For mechanical. No issues. Engine starts easily, No problem for changing gear. Running straight. No problem at turning right and left.

At Last, in New Jersey, Car under model year 1995 should not need to have State Inspection any more. I have Certification for this (see photo). This will be good for collectors and/or historic car lovers in NJ.
Also, if you want to inspect car, car is available at area of Leonia, NJ. Please contact me to have inspection of this Miata. I will try to let you inspect car, but it should be on weekend (Saturday or Sunday)
