Description of 1987 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560SL

THERE IS NO RESERVE ON This Classic Mercedes Sports Car. It is truly one-of-a-kind, NE OWNER CAR. The only reason I am selling, s because of health issues. It has been gently driven, erviced every 3,000 miles, aintained and repaired with everything up to date. This model of Mercedes is built to last and with the proper maintenance, ou can expect to get many, any years of enjoyment. This model Mercedes Benz was offered from the factory with a limited slip differential, utomatic transmission, utomatic braking system(ABS), rivers side air bag, eather seats, ower windows, entral locking system, heft alarm, utomatic climate control, M/FM Cassette Radio (I have upgraded to a Kenwood MP3 player with remote control), ower antenna with adjustable height control, emovable hardtop with rolling storage rack and cover, cloth car cover.
The engine has, s I list it, 97,380 gently, riven miles. Please don't be concerned with the mileage on this car, his model of Mercedes is built for a million miles. The mileage is low, nly 7,000 per year. If you have looked at cars that have been stored in garages most of their life, eware because lots of issues will occur as you begin to drive it, acing repairs from the car not being consistently driven. It has never been in the ice, now or salt covered roads. It has been stored in the garage at all times. The great durability of the car is very well known and it deserves it's reputation. A Mercedes in this class is designed and built to last a lifetime if properly cared for. Everything is up to date on this car, ll the big and small repairs have been done.

Tires balanced and pressure check, hecked brake pad/disk thickness, nspect condition, outing, eaks of components, ines and hoses, hecked rear axel fluid level, hecked front axle ball joints, hecked steering play, utomatic transmission fluid and filter change, nspected parking brake cables, nspect drive shaft flex disks, eplaced fuel filter and checked O2 sensor, ngine oil and filter change, hecked condition and tension of V belts, heck and adjusted automatic transmission fluid level, heck and adjusted engine coolant level and protection, heck and adjust power steering fluid level, heck and adjust AC refrigerant charge, hecked battery electrolyte, eplaced two valve cover gaskets and valve stem seals (2 sets) replaced, iming chain replaced at 187,000 miles, ard top release mechanism replaced at 186,000 miles, ar runs cool all day even in the heat with the AC blowing.
Shocks are soft on bumps and tight in corners, he car handles BEAUTIFULLY! The steering shock absorber has recently been replaced. The steering is tight and has no excess play as you will find in some older Mercedes.
Original paint looks new, espite being 28 years old, his car looks decades newer and is way above its peers in quality and appearance. No dents, o scratches, t's a BEAUTY! Tires were put on several years ago but inspected recently at Big O tire company, aid there was still a lot of life in these tires. The Wheels are in great shape. It comes with the soft top and the original hard top, oth in excellent condition. There is no rust on this perfectly maintained car. Even the convertible top storage well unit is good and clean also. The door panels are clean and free of any scratches or dents. All the gauges on the dash work with exception of the clock. The exhaust hangers have recently been replaced.
All of the interior is original, mportant for the Historical values going forward with this car. The carpet, eather seats, ood trim, eather steering wheel are all original and in excellent condition. The dash has a few solar cracks. The lighted visor mirrors work perfectly. The wood on the dash and console is absolutely beautiful! The gear shift knob is leather, ll original in great condition. Behind the seats is a good-size compartment and it has the original first aid kit that sits in it's holder behind the passenger seat. The trunk is very roomy and fully carpeted (also original) and underneath is a storage compartment for the battery and spare tire, ll in good condition.
AC/HEATER: The AC is arctic cold and Heat is very warm. The system has been replaced and compliant with the new requirements for air conditioning components.
This car comes with extras such as roadside tool kit, riginal owners manual, ercedes-Benz Engine/Chassis/Units Manual, thick service and maintenance folder, alet parking key, ool for unhooking the convertible top, oadside Assistance pamphlets, riginal service and warranty book, riginal cruise control card, peration & care of SL Tops book, utomatic climate control card, nd even the original plastic case these items came in. There are also 3 electronic keys in addition to the valet key. Also included is a soft cover that fits over the entire and a storage bag for the cover.
Driving this 560SL is like no other. It has all the power it had from the factory and from even a little gas is torquey and responsive.
