Description of 1989 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2dr Coupe Roadster

Picture yourself behind the wheel of this beautiful, ow-mileage 560SL Roadster! It is in excellent condition and looks like it has been driven only about 10,000 miles - although the odometer just turned 54,200. We are only the 2nd owners of this collectible car, nd have always kept it garaged when we were not driving it. It has been a fun weekend car for us since September of 2005, nd we have driven it about 1,000 miles a year. (Try to avoid buying any car this age which has not been driven fairly regularly or taken out of the garage - these cars are meant to be enjoyed!).
This was the final and most desirable year for the legendary W107 roadster (1972-1989).
This is not the frequently seen red, hite, ilver or black versions of this car - look elsewhere if you are that buyer. Notice the rare, xciting and unique color combination - Light Ivory exterior (DB-623) and luxurious Brazil (8310) chocolate brown leather interior. The exterior paint is in fantastic shape and is all original. The leather upholstery is in excellent condition and is soft. Exterior finish has a show-room quality shine. The chrome trim is bright and clear all around the car.
There are no cracks in the dash, nd the wood inlays are all in great shape. All power options work 100%.
This car has never been in an accident. Unlike many of these you may see on eBay, here are no dents in the body or bumpers.
This car has been smoke free by us (and likely the prior owner). There are no weird smells, dors or sounds when you are driving it.
This 560SL starts up immediately, uns perfectly, nd is mechanically sound is all respects (there are absolutely no known mechanical issues and we have had it for just shy of 10 years!). We are sad to part with it, ut are selling as part of downsizing in retirement.
This car has had all its regularly servicing. The A/C was recently charged and has a brand new condenser and compressor (blows very cold!).
This car is a collector's dream. With continued use and care, t may likely continue to increase in value as it has over the years.

Note: While this car is in impeccable shape for its age and ~54,000 miles, he soft top's rear window has some very light scratches from cleaning it which do not impact its beauty or function. There are also some very light "spider-like" scratches on the rear bumper which also don't impact the car's "wow" factor. You will love showing off this car to your friends and family - and more importantly, ou will love driving and owning it!
