Description of 1976 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

For sale is a Yellow-Green 1976 Mercedes Benz 300D in fair condition, hich I have owned since 2012. The car has 73956 original miles and a clean title, nd also runs and drives well with working lights and signals. The suspension and brakes have been well maintained and it is a great driver. All the chrome is original, nd in good condition with the exception of the bottom edge of the grille. The interior is in good condition with no cracks or crumbling, ut there is a hole in the driver's seat at the left-elbow postion. Dash is nearly crack free with a very small crack near the top vent ( see photo). Fuel mileage is excellent; 28mpg city and 35mpg hwy. There is a crack in the front windshield, nd deep rust in many places on the body, s seen in the photos. All four power windows work, ut the rear power window switches need to be replaced. The AC needs Freon, nd the car has a tendency to slip out of park, ut otherwise no transmission issues.
Good points: clean title; good tires; 73956 original miles; 5 cylinder diesel runs well; great fuel economy at 28mpg-35mpg; well-serviced suspension/brakes; working power windows; good interior, ash in excellent condition with only one small 2mm*2mm crack.
Flaws: body is extremely rusty, ncluding trunk floor/trunk seal, ront corner of driver side floor-pan, nd door panels; front windshield is cracked; slips out of park; AC needs service; 14cm*18cm hole in driver seat upholstery.
The work required to return this car to a a condition of high value is mostly cosmetic; it is an ideal purchase for buyers with the intent to restore.

EDIT: Floor pan has not been redone, here is a small amount of rust on the front driver's side corner, n the top left corner near the brake pedal. The pedals are not compromised and the floor pan is still solid and poses no problems to the function of the vehicle.
