Up for sale is my 1978 Mercedes Benz 300D - diesel.Cool old classic German car that runs, rives and stopsFour door with working electric sunroof (rare)Interior is amazing seats are in excellent shape as is the headliner with only one spot where it has come loose at the sunroof area - easy fix not a tear just needs some glueAll gauges work - yes, ven the clock still works.Powerantennaworks - with aftermarket radio with USB connectionAll power windowsoperate up and down although slow.228,458 miles which is just getting broken in for these diesels.Seats are inexcellent shape with no tears. Drivers seat adjustment handle (plastic part) is brokenTires are great with little wear, omes with four matching hubcap as seen.Brand new windshieldwith new rubber gasket. Chrome trim re-installed.Solid trunk and floors with no rust found on floors. Original carpet kit shows some wear at the drivers area but the back area is still glued down.Car had a peeling clear coat when I got it so I sanded it down and covered with quality auto paint in matching original metallic color. Paint job is good but not perfect as you can see and feel some orange peel, rivers quality.Drives like an old German sedan, lassic ride.Known issues:- starter is acting up every now and then....probably needs replaced or rebuilt at some point- small rust areas on inner rear wheel and some on underside -didn't find any on body.- was in accident at some point in life. Drivers hood hinge is a little bent, on original hood, ops of both front fenders had damage due to accident, hey were both repaired but you can still see. - glove box light stays on 24/7. I took the bulb out after it drained the battery....newer battery- drivers door is missing interior door pocket- misc smalls dents as seen- dash has cracks, omes with goodmatching dash padOverall this is a VERY clean ride. Fix the few issues and drive it for another 200,000 miles probably.I bought it in Denver and probably saved itfrom the crusher or a part out. Just thought it deserved a 2nd or 3rd chance in life...Would makenice Sunday driver or daily driver with a little work. It had sat for a few years so a full fluidservice would be recommended.Making room for more cars on my bucket list.I have a clean open Colorado title.
