Description of 1900 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

The venerable W123 chassis: WAGON - MANUAL - NOT BROWN
A 1983 European model Mercedes-Benz 300 Wagon.Ivory exterior with the MB Tex Palomino interior. Diesel (non-turbo), speed, ir conditioning, nti-lock Brake System, rear folding seat (7 passenger), M/FM/cassette, ow hitch, luminium wheels.
A basic version of the 300TD ('Touring Diesel'); this car has manual windows and standard-type heating/cooling system (not the climate control unit) with separate driver and passenger temperature adjustments. Also unusual, his car was ordered from the factory with the middle seat belts as a 'delete' option. It has now been fitted with lap belts in all three positions (the front seats and folding rear seat being equipped with three-point belts). It is fitted with five Fuchs alloy wheels and is also equipped with the European market fire extinguisher. Also fitted is the original Mercedes tow bar (trailer hitch). The ball is the standard German 50mm which equates to 2". Safety triangle, irst aid kit, nd tool kit are complete and included.
This car was originally sold in Belgium and with its original owner, ade its way to North America. Brought into Florida, t then made its way to Washington (state), hen Ontario, nd now in Virginia. On initially entering the USA, he car was fitted with a speedometer that reads in miles-per-hour. The car has been changed back to its original speedometer; once again showing kilometres. The other gauge cluster is included with the sale.
This wagon has been used for regular transportation for its life and - as expected - shows signs of use: there is a dent in the tailgate, ear on the driver's seat, nd the paint is wearing thin in places, nd there is one crack in the dash. Remarkably (and due to rust-proofing treatment) the wagon has only two rust spots (on the tailgate). The self-leveling suspension was redone with new hoses and pistons/levelers fitted. The ABS in not in operation, ut (unlike many used cars) the air conditioning does work! Tyres have only a few hundred kilometres on them. Overall, he car is in fair to good condition. All original owners manuals are included with the sale.
Other items available for purchase (included with Buy-it-Now):

A second set of (5) Fuchs alloy wheels fitted withexcellent tyres.
Original 1983 sales brochure and paint chart.
Cross bars for the roof rack.
Wheel covers (2), ocker cover gaskets (2), isc switches, nd more.
The car has a current Virginia state inspection. Engine oil, ear box oil, ifferential oil, nd brake fluid have just been changed. Should the new owner reside in Virginia, he car will be re-inspected with a new inspection certificate. If the 'Buy-it-Now' option is selected, shall deliver this wagon within a 300 mile radius of Richmond, irginia; provided the new owner agrees to deliver me to the nearest Amtrak station for the return home.
