This series is the last series of production from Mercedes and the best. sported an updated turbo for the last 4 years of production which is functioning just as if it just left the factory and is to Mbz specifications. I purchased this car from a car restorer who was in the process of restoring her. He had acquired the car from the original owner who was a rather flamboyant character who apperently had left the car for years in his garage. Due to the rarity of the color in the most collectible year I paid top dollar and spared no expense to bring this gem to its current immaculate condition with meticulous MBZ qualified restoration experts. A team of restoration specialists are responsible for bringing her back to illustrious glory. I ask you to look for a 1984 CD Coupe in this color. in this condition. I have only seen pics. as soon as I saw her my jaw dropped. She deserved the absolute best restoration. Her name is Emerald. I was astonished to learn that in order to achieve this color the car was painted blue as an undercoat. Paint code Blue Green 877. Original paint color match with dripping wet clear coat. Not a scratch on this gem. All new interior - practically no one has even sat in the seats. Wood is gorgeous. Hand crafted by a well known automotive interior wood restorer here in California. Dash - near perfect. The glove compartment lid closes snug and the interior is illuminated when opened. Brand new "old stock" chrome Bundt wheels. Not easy to find let me tell you. Brand New tires. Brand new Kenwood Stereo with phone input. Tune-up. Oil and fluid change. Transmission service. Lube. AC update and charge. LOVE!The title was issued in 1984 and is clearOriginal and documented 166k miles US California rust free car. I see many cars offered on Ebay which do not have the correct miles or "fudged" especially ones dated 1981 and before where DMV and Carfax have no records to substantiate the miles. None of my cars are subject to this. The milage is as real as it gets. no "too good to be true" mileage statements. This car looks as new and drives exceptionally well. The suspension and shocks are superb. The steering is smooth. The transmission shifts beautifully.
