Description of 1984 Mercedes-Benz Other

1984 Mercedes Benz 300TD Turbo Diesel. The cars runs pretty good, ve gone on pretty long drive with it 50 miles+. On the highway it feels great, t could be mistaken for a new car while on the highway, onestly. What most people don't tell you about these 80's diesel mercedes is that they run on vacuum systems. from the windows to the door locks to the gears shifting it is all run on vacuum systems. what else most people wont tell you about these cars is that most of the time the A/C unit is old and busted and that it costs 2 grand to fix. I bought this car about two years ago as a project. I wanted a cool old mercedes that runs on vegetable oil. 8 thousand dollars later and about 20 hours of labor I finally had it. I love this car and it is very cool I just don't have the time or patience anymore, also just bought a 2013 E350 bluetec diesel and I need my parking space. WHAT THE CAR NEEDS: 1. New hoses and tubes for the A/C (compressor is under a year old, he tubes and hoses are original) 2. A new vacuum control valve/unit (Mercedes released an updated O.E.M. part that works much better because all the little valves are much lighter and easier for the air throughout the vacuum to move them) because the door locks are slow and the transmission does the vacuum suck drop thing from first into second and reverse makes the car shake. the part is about $50-$75 and takes 1-2 hours to install at a mechanic. 3: Needs Tires Soon 4: Paint........other than that it's pretty decent, nterior is decent besides the dash and arm rest. theres also suprisingly little to no rust on the car. previous owners garaged or overhanged and I have it under an overhang. All of the major stuff that needed to be done to this car has been done, his is a solid car that needs just a little TLC which is much less stuff than most of the pieces of junk on here. This car would actually be a good project for the novice mechanic. engine had a rebuild not too long ago and glow plug is new. If you have any questions or want to know about anything specific feel free. I've spent a lot of time on this car and my price is firm and very fair. I'm also open to trades and open minded, et me know. Have the title in hand (clean title)
