Description for Mercedes-Benz 190-Series 1985

1985 190e 2.3 16V euro spec (French delivery car) Vin #WDB2010341A212771. I am the 3rd US owner of this car. I have a clean title in hand. Under 97K miles on the odometer.
This is my 1985 Euro 190E. It is a rare euro factory 5 speed manual transmission car. Euro means it was originally delivered new to Europe and then imported to the USA. It has themore powerful higher revving engine and weighs less then its US counterparts. Very few imported into the USA. Under 100K original miles. Runs and drives great. No problem driving this car anywhere. The interior is the rare euro only "Karo" or plaid fabric with the factory Recaro seats. I also installed a very rare Brabus steering wheel just like the one Brabus used in its 190E 3.6S. The factory original non air bag steering wheel is included with the sale also.
This particular car is significantly lighter than the US cars and we continued that theme by deleting a few non essentials. This car had its radio and all speakers deleted with a delete panel in the dash, he antenna and antenna motor were deleted (antenna hole filled in fender), eavy sound deadening pad behind rear seat deleted (not noticeable at all), LS suspension including all componentscompletely deleted. Itcame from the factory with non powered front seats and wind up rear windows. As stated before, tsa non airbag car. The weight savings are very noticeable compared to my two prior US spec 190E 16v cars.This car is a hoot to drive!When your on the interstate in 4th gear and above 5000RPMs, he car pulls and pulls and pulls. It does not feel like a 4 cylinder!
SUSPENSION UPDATES: Recently under500 miles ago, e-did the complete suspension with BRAND NEW factory Mercedes OEM parts. The only thing not factory is the springs and shocks. In the front end we did new Vogtland sport springs (lowers car 1.5"), ilstein Sport shocks, ew spring pads, ew shock mounts, ew shock dust boots, owdercoated front factory sway bar and installed 4 new sway bar bushings (inner and outer). In the rear end, verything was done. We completely removed the rear sub frame.Brand new everything including SLS delete, ogtland springs,Bilstein Sport shocks, pring pads, owdercoated rear sway bar, ear sway bar bushings and brackets, pgraded metal sway bar links from W124 wagon (190e uses cheep plastic links, heel carrier bushings, ontrol arm bushings, emoved and reinforced sub frame, owder coated sub frame, new sub frame bushings, ew torque arms, amber arms, hrust arms, nd tie rod kit. To top off the suspension/handling of this car, e added brand new custom built Rotiform LHR matte gold wheels and Yokohama S Line tires. The wheels are 17x8 fronts and 17x9 rears with 205/40/17 fronts and 235/40/17 rears. I also am including the factory original forged 15" wheels with brand new Dunlop Sport tires in factory spec (205/55/15) ordered from TireRack with less then 20 miles on them.
Other new parts installed arebrand new Bosch Euro headlightsincluding the headlamps and darker factory euro amber corners. The bulbs we used are German Osram "Night Breakers" both in the H4 headlights and the H3 fog lights. This set up is a great improvement over the factory US headlamps both in looks and illumination. Brand new factory leather shift knob/ boot, hort shift kit w/new shift yolk bushings. Brand new Mercedes floor matts. Brand new rubber fuel lines from tank to pump, ew fuel strainer inside gas tan, ew valve cover gasket, ood strut, ew factory muffler and resonator.etc,etc etc. The car also has the larger W124 brakes. I also did a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change, obil 1 tranny and differential fluid change. Since I have owned the car it only gets ethanol free gas. It also received a professional exterior paint correction which took 10 days to complete.All manuals, ool kit, pare tire are included with the car. Clean carfax.
***The car did have light rear end damage at one time. The right rear quarter was replaced, he trunk lid and the panel between the rear taillights were also replaced. Its was all up high damage and the under carriage and frame was unaffected. However the trunk does require a bit of a slam to close. It seems like it needs a bit of adjustment.The car was completely re-sprayed at the time the parts were replaced.This does not detract from the function of the car and it tracks as straight as an arrow, ome and drive it!
I'm moving on to another old air cooled Porsche project so this one needs to go. I have all receipts along with a box full of spare factory original parts and will include. Title in hand. Just wanted to add a few pics. The shifter was sent out and received new shift yolk bushings and longer extended shift arms to make the throw allot shorter. This car shifts very nicely and very easy. I also did Mobil 1 tranny and diff fluid to complete the shifter/shifting "overhaul".
This is the car without the 17" Rotiform wheels BUT with everything else. So if you want to use the factory wheels, his is what it will look like and that's including the 1.5" lowered suspension. Again this is the car lowered with the factory wheels.
The factory wheels have brand new Dunlop tires on them with less than 10 miles of use.

Sub frame removed, ushings removed. Sub frame welded/reinforced and powder coated with all new sub frame bushings installed. We rented/used the proper Klannsub frame bushing removal/replacement tool
