1977 450SL with extensive maintenance completed and ready for miles of carefree driving. This car has around $8000 worth of recent maintenance which includes. Timing chain, ails and tensioner replaced at 100,000 miles. Reconditioned radiator and new water pump. Fuel pump and filter replaced. Air conditioner completely gone through and updated to R134A coolant. New spark plugs and wires. This car has not been driven in the rain or snow and has always been garaged. This car is ready for around 30,000 miles of driving with just oil and filter changes. The car runs and drives fantastic. It has never let me down. I have driven it to work and for fun on nice days for 3 years. Interior and soft top are like new. Paint is original and looks great. Comes with beautiful hard top and hoist for easy change out. These are great cars. I have owned a lot of older convertibles but these beat the Mustangs and Corvettes hands down. These cars were designed to be a convertible. Every Mustang and Vette needs extensive work to make it handle this good. They do have more power but uncontrolled power is useless and dangerous. This could be the next SL to jump up in price, specially ones with this quality of maintenance record.
