Description of 1967 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

This is a very clean and rare 200 sedan with a 121 gas motor with dual carbs. It is a low mileage car that has sat in a garage for the past 26 years. It runs and drives great, ut is cold blooded. It needs to warm up completely before it starts to run well. It most likely needs a tune up, lugs, oints, tc. It has an automatic transmission that works perfectly. This car is very solid with very little in terms of rust. Just a few areas of minor surface rust is all I can see. The previous owner had all of the minor door dings and imperfections taken out and had it primed down the sides, nd put some aftermarket mouldings on the sides. It originally had no mouldings on the sides, ut they could easily be taken off. The bumpers are in amazing condition and the rest of the chrome is good with some minor pitting on the top of the grill. The upholstery is very nice with just a few age cracks on the top of the rear seat. This car has essentially the same motor a 190sl has with a 9-1 compression. I believe a 190sl intake and exhaust manifold, nd carbs would make this motor put out the same HP as a 190sl and would fit right in. It also has front disk brakes that would work with a 190sl if someone wanted to use this car to upgrade their 190sl roadster. However, his car would make a great classy driver as well just as it is. It is straight and ready to paint, hich is all it needs to be nearly perfect other than a good tune up.
