SAFETY

Mercedes introduce a pioneering impact-absorbing safety cage design and crumple zones with this model, so the W110 was among the first Mercedes cars to be extensively crash tested for occupant safety. The suspension is softer than the W123 cars and it does great over speed bumps and pot holes.

Parts are available and are fairly cheap. Just type 'Mercedes W110 into eBay and you can buy most anything you need.It helps if the buyer is mechanically inclined or has a good mechanic and there are many who still know this model.
