I am not an expert in vintage cars, even though I am one of the only female fully bonded car dealerships in this state.
I picked up a 1977 Mercedes convertible and want to pass it onto a collector instead of dismantle it because of its good condition.
The vehicle does not drive and has some fuel issue. The guy I got it from was pouring gasoline manually down the throttle by disconnecting the fuel pump and got it to start up but not drive forward. That was inFebruary. I have not tried to fiddle with the vehicle.
The vehicle has one small oxidation spot. Everything else seems to be normal wear and tear. I will do athoroughchecklist in a few days and post it up. I know theconvertibletop needs to be replaced. They sell those for $350 here on eBay.Miles are 190k on the speedometer.
No funky smoke or mold smells inside. Would be a great project or use for parts. Now--- I can help with shipping or local pickup.
