Im listing this Vehicle for a good friend of mine. This is NOT a restoration project and is in immaculate condition!! Originally from CA and with ONLY 25,911 original miles!! This particular 450 is a collectors dream... A Barrett-Jackson worthy specimen!! For the enthusiast who wants a Mercedes-Benz sports car or Grand Touring car, the R107's are now at the point where they're still affordable but on the cusp of starting to appreciate in value. They are refined, reliable, and comfortable with a sporty panache, have exceptionally reliable engines and transmissions, great for contemporary driving in the city or on cross-country tours. Parts are still widely available from many sources including Mercedes-Benz Classic Center USA. In regards to production, besides the 1981 380SL (1,991), there were only 11,120 (1980 450SLC's) produced worldwide. That number has considerably dropped over the past 36 years, which makes purchasing this factory original 450SLC a great invetment!!
