This Baby Benz was available on our shores from 1984-1993. Wikipedia tells us that Mercedes spent over £600 million researching and developing the 190 and subsequently said it was 'massively over-engineered'. These cars are basically "Bullet-Proof". and should give the lucky new owner many many years of trouble free ownership!!! Mercedes lovers everywhere get weak in the knees when one like this becomes available. An always Dealer serviced 190 with 44. 00 Actual. documented miles. that was apparently treated like one of the family! Examples like this one are unheard of! Most have over 200 Thousand miles by now. and are still going strong. Carfax tells us that this is a one owner car that lived somewhere close to Atlantic City New Jersey. It was always serviced by the local dealer there. and is currently in excellent mechanical condition. Tires and brakes are very close to new. It runs and drives fantastic. as you would expect in a 44. 00 mile car. and is sure to please the lucky new owner!!!Cosmetically. this Mercedes 190E is excellent. The body is damage and rot free The paint is simply Gorgeous. especially for a 30 year old car. There is a small rust blister on the lower left corner of the hood. next to the grille. that I brush touched. There is a photo below. I also did some minor brush touching around the car on various nicks. and edges. There are some small paint blisters here and there are are NOT rusted through. and are too small to be photographed. Continued garage care should keep these the way that they are. Outside storage will certainly speed up the deterioration of these spots. My guess is that this 190E was garaged most of it's life. and towards the end of prior ownership. it moved outside. The MB Tex interior is gorgeous and all power equipment and accessories work as designed.
