Description of 1975 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

Selling my 1975 280C coupe. I recently moved into a home without garage and don't have the time or money to look after her; I've had her since 2010. I bought it off an old retired professor in Utah. he kept the car in a heated garage. I also kept her in the garage in my old home. she never say rain or inclement weather. Therefore very minimal rust if any. This car is a tank. none of that fiber glass stuff used now a days. solid steel. You know its solid just by opening and closing the door. it requires effort from the weight of the doors. The mileage was unknown to the previous owner however its a 39 year old car. so don't expect low mileage. The engine is strong with a 2. 8L M110 engine with upgraded weber carbs. Starts up and keeps on going. The paint job on the car is pretty amazing given the age of the car. I also have SL rims on the car which gives it an added layer of attitude. No show car but definitely a head turner. The 280C is pillarless. there is not center pillar. The original hardtop convertible. All the lights and gauges work. She has passed safety inspection quite a few times but I got antique plates because I didn't drive her enough for the cost of doing a safety inspection every year or the hassle of it. However the bad news is. the interior is shot. the sunroof doesn't open. a back window needs a new motor and the passenger side window needs a little tweaking to sit flush (haven't had time to open the door panels and set the glass) The car comes with extra's. I have another set of tires with original hubcaps. an extra dash instrument. a rear light. and oil filters.
