Description of 1982 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 380sl |
| Almost flawless 1982 Mercedes-Benz Roadster painted Oro Elios gold (same original color with more shine and iridescence) with both a new soft top and freshly painted hard top. Can was enhanced by changing the 15" rims to 17" high polished chrome MB AMG rims. and fitted with new Pirelli P7 tires. The spare tire also has the AMG rim and a new P7 tire. Carpet and floor mats were replaced throughout the car including the trunk. When the auto received the new paint in 2014. all the side moldings. exterior trim and MB emblems were replaced with new. Car has under 90. 00 miles on it and is stored in a climate controlled Mercedes-Benz showroom. This car is a head turner and draws more attention than my 1956 Rolls Royce. yet it is reliable enough to be driven as frequently. or infrequently. as you wish. *** This car did have a dent in the right rear quarter panel. which spawned the complete restoration *** |
