Garaged kept 230 SL, no rust here. Very strong running engine. The 230’s are lighter than the 250’s /280’s and a nimbler driving experience. To me, definitely more fun to drive than the 280’s. Automatic transmission in very good shape. Gaps on this car are perfect. Flawless, hard to find black luster paint. Very desirable color combination Back/Tan versus the White & Red SL’s out there. Interior in very good condition, 9 out of 10, see pics. New tires. Engine bay is clean, has been restored correctly. Bright work in very good condition, limited pitting. All gauges in working order. Clock keeps perfect time. Very clean running machine, starts right up, no smoke. Ultimate Sunday Cruiser. Both tops are in very good condition. Convertible top is rarely used.
