Description for Mercedes-Benz 400-Series 1973

Hello to all eBayers!

I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse.

Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices.

1973 Mercedes Benz SLC 450

This is a great model 450 Euro. This great looking Euro 450 SLC has only 115,306 actual miles. Its CA title doesn’t have the odometer reading because of its age. This Euro was imported from a collector/Mercedes-enthusiast in Germany to Maryland. It was in there for about 4-5 years, always garage-kept, then it was converted to US specs (miles, etc.), few years later was brought to California in 2004, so it was kept for quite some time in a climate-control garage by another collector.

It sounds mechanically great, it’s an awesome driver, it gets lots of compliments wherever it goes; it was purchased for commercial and filming purposes. I didn’t drive it much, but the V8 engine sounds great and the rare 5-speed transmission clutch shifts great, too.

This car has very rare bumpers and a spoiler in the front. Paint is in great condition. It is a fully loaded car. All the gauges work as they should. Overall, the exterior is in great condition. All the glass is in beautiful condition, the chromes are presentable, a little discolored like the wheels, but nothing major. It is solid beneath the car.

It’s an all original car, its interior isn’t perfect, but in a presentable condition; has an after-market radio. I would change the carpets. The dash looks clean, the seats look clean, the headliner is in great condition, the door panels are all there. Overall this is a very rare MBZ, that you don’t see often, and with Euro bumpers, it’s a beautiful car, and it runs and drives and looks great.

I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered!
