This (1991) was the last year of the famous W126 body made by Mercedes. In that year, I had bought this exact model and color brand new. In 1995 I sold the car when deployed overseas. I have searched for the same black model for some time until I acquired this one.This car is the cleanest one you will find with only 2 prior owners. It had been in storage for a while and was owned by a family friend for years. With only 89400 miles over 26 years, it has been driven about 3500 miles per year. The battery is BRAND NEW and it has received a tune up recently. Engine is very strong and car starts and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts without hesitation of any kind. These cars can drive 200k miles easily.The interior and body are in remarkably good shape for its age- in fact, the best I've seen of any comparable car and I have seen many. The interior controls such as power windows work. The leather upholstery is clean without any cracks or tears anywhere. The paint is the original paint and still has a nice shine consistent with the age of the car. BRAND NEW all four tires were installed last week. The car will need brake service. The AC will need to be re-charged and checked for any leaks. The tail lights should be changed and the car should be detailed with black wax. There are no major dents, only minor dings and scratches which are remarkably few for a car this vintage. We have posted several high resolution photos. All inspections, if needed, must be done prior to delivery. The car is being sold AS IS WHERE IS with no warranties express or implied of any type. This is a standard disclaimer for used cars. Buyer will arrange and pay for transport (although I can recommend an excellent broker). Deposit of $500 by Paypal is due on purchase and the remainder by bank wire or cash in person. Clear NC title. This is lowest price and cleanest S class Mercedes with LOW miles you will find. Bids will start low. |
