Description of 1991 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

You are bidding on a beautiful 1991 roadster with only 66,000 miles and completely rust free. It lived its life in Florida. It has a brand new soft top and a hard top. She looks amazing, her interior is very good with no rips or tears in the seats or dashboard. Her V8 runs smooth and fast as it should. The tires are brand new. The original stereo works great.
I always believe in being upfront with everything I can think of when I sell a car. Here are the things to know that you may or may not want to address when you own her, depending on if they are issues for you:
- Part of the hydraulic actuators have been replaced but a couple more need to be replaced that are leaking for the top to work appropriately. There are 12 actuators in the hydraulic system and 4 were replaced. I believe the one behind the drivers seat in soft top compartment is the one that is leaking and will need to be replaced by you if you want the system to work as it should. You can take the hardtop on and off easily and drive her without using the soft top if you choose.- There are a couple of very small paint blemishes, one on the hood and one on the trunk that are in the pictures which I believe to be from tree sap. I believe that a good detailer can get these out. - There is a small crack in the front drivers side bumper as in the pictures. - It comes with a hard top that is in great condition but the headliner is original and is sagging and could be replaced.- The air is blowing a bit weak and could use a recharge if you want ice cold a/c.- The drivers side door compartment lid is loose.
