Description of 1967 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300 SE

Up For a 5-Day No Reserve Auction Is This Beautiful 1967 Mercedes-Benz300 SE Coupe
Car is 100% rust free car is not concourse but a great every day driver
car is equipped with a 6.3 Engine
If you know anything about the 6.3 engine it was originally in the 600 limo Mercedes then carried on to the 300 SEL sedan Mercedes
I purchased a car from a 80-year-old gentleman who bought the car when it was just about 4 years old and decided one day to pull the original 6-cylinder engine out and install a Mercedes 6.3 engine along with transmission and front and rear differential from a 300 SEL 6.3
it all fit in the car quite well and made it a very unique coupe
The previous owner did not only choose the right car but the right model you see the 6.3 only came in the 2 models I mentioned earlier and they both were equipped with air suspension
the only coupe that offered air suspension was the 300 SE this was one of the most expensive Mercedes you could have bought them back in that time excluding the 600 limo The 300 SE is a real gentleman's car it is a longer wheelbase car than the 280 3.5 car

These cars were low production cars, which makes themhighly collectible now.
Production Numbers:
Production Numbers of the 300SE from March 1962 to December 1967
Chassis prefix is 112 - Engine prefix is 189.

Here's what the car will need air suspension comes up and will stay up for a little bit but then will come back down most likely the bags we need to be replace valve body is good body is straight paint looks Great although it is not as shiny on Hoodas on the rest of the car The car runs fabulousThe tachometer will also need to be replace
Mercedes-Benz built the 300 SE series Coupes and Cabriolets, 1962 through 1967 and they were the most expensive Mercedes-Benz of its time. The 300 SE cars were hand built to be ultra-luxurious with more wood, more leather and more chrome. Only the 300 SE cars had the powerful 3.0-liter 'Gullwing' engine, the highly sophisticated air suspension and all-wheel disc brakes. Because of its luxurious prominence, the 300SE Mercedes-Benz was the car to own by the wealthy and famous.
Some owners of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SE Coupes and Cabriolets were: Yul Brynner,Doris Day, Melvin Belli, Alfred Hitchcock, Bill Harrah, Pat Matthews and William R. Brooks III.
Oh by the way I also have the original motor and transmission that will go along with the car when these were pulled out of the car they were both completely rebuilt as well

i'm located in San Jose California and can show the car anytime you are serious about owning it I'm looking for serious buyers and not tire kickers pictures speak for themselves
