Description of 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

This vehicle was owned by Shuler Autohaus for decades in Fayetteville, Arkansas. My wife and I bought it in April of 2016. It is a great daily driver and we are sad to see it go. It has a clean AutoCheck report (see photos for full report).
Since purchasing the vehicle we have spent more than $7,000 to improve the ride and look of the wagon including:
4/4/20162 new rear suspension hydraulic actuators2 new front shocksFull tune-up including oil change, valve adjustments, replace all filtersRepair shift bushingTransmission fluid change2 new motor mountsSteering box adjustment
7/17/2016Replace rear window fusesRepair LR window slide
8/22/2016New rac bolt2 new upper control arms (left and right)2 new lower ball joints
10/8/20164 new tires
Previous owner made several recent repairs including a new battery, master cylinder and replaced the front seats. The drivers seat and the 3rd row seat have tears in the bottom cushions. The rest of the interior shows wear of a car this age (see photos for details). The wagon has a slow fluid leak but we have never had to add oil. Based on the intermittent rear ride quality my mechanic thinks the left rear hydraulic shock has a seal leak. In addition, the automatic door locks are finicky, the tachometer does not register, and the motorized radio antennae does not lower.
This vehicle was side swiped in front of our house in December of 2016. We had the body repaired and instead of matching the finish/luster of the original paint, we painted the vehicle an original Mercedes W123 Chinablau 934 (China Blue). The door jambs and under side of the hood are still a tan color.
This wagon is a great daily driver, starts up every time, and gets you where you need to go in style.
Good luck and thanks for looking.
