Description of 1972 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Recently purchased from 2nd owner who had bought it in 1987with 19000miles on it. It now has 58832. Everything on the car is original including the paint. Has been garage kept all its life. Mechanics: Runs and drives good. Has been driven only 500 miles in the past 5 years. I have gone thru it and tuned it up. It needs to be driven to sort things out. Interior: Totally original and is in good shape including the drivers seat. Soft top is original and needs to be replaced . Dash is excellent - no cracks. Body: Paint is original and has a few flaws but is in amazingly good shape. There are some paint chips that need to be touched up. I purposedly did not do this because I wanted the car to be seen in original condition. Undercarriage is solid. Paint is factory 2-tone. Rubber: Seals are in average condition. Tires are usable but could be replaced. Spare appears to be original. This is a great survivor. Runs good looks good. If interested and need more pictures call me. Try to come see the car.
