This 300D could use some cosmetic work, but runs beautifully and shows no signs of stopping. The car is mechanically sound, can cruise at highway speeds and was (on 12/5/17) checked out by a Mercedes specialist who deemed it mechanically sound. No limit, see details below.
Pluses-Already mechanically sound-Runs reliably; no trouble starting the engine-Turbo works-Clean interior and back seats-Recent oil change on December 5, included inspection-Brand new battery bought in January w/ receipt
Minuses- Approx 250,000 miles + odometer stopped (though these cars are bulletproof and regularly reach 1,000,000 miles)-Front seats need replacement or covers-Brakes will need replacement in 5,000 miles ($50)-Rear axle will (eventually) need a replacement-Small cosmetic things: Not original paint (minor chip on the driver side, see pictures), window liners are a bit ragged, vanity mirrors need to be replaced-AC doesn't work; heat does
