Description of 1959 Mercedes-Benz Galaxie

This and several others are being sold due to health reasons. Three years ago I had a massive stroke that involved my eyesight, speech, and paralysis. While I have improved over time with theory, I am left with some speech and memory deficits and mobility balance and fatigue problems. I will be selling my others after this. ANY QUESTIONS, CALL BRUCE AND I WILL TRY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. 860-995-5595.
This prototype to the Excalibur is truly a work of art to have been made entirely of Stainless Steel [ full body, cowl, floors, rear section, and doors all brackets, the formed bumpers front and rear, hardware, grill, and exhaust headers and side pipes]. Even the headlights turn as you turn the steering wheel. It roadster is not small as it has a 100" wheelbase. The fenders are vintage Harley Davidson, the interior is a fine grade of pure leather and the convertible top is Hertz Canvas which is the best as used on Mercedes Benz cars. The frame started out as a full sized Ford Galaxy Convertible, was narrowed and fully boxed with extra members as shown in the pictures. The 351 engine is built as is the C-6 trans followed by the Ford 9" posi-traction. There was nothing held back to make the best. This car gets attention anywhere it goes. The trophy's are just some of the ones received. If you want "One of One" in the world, this is it.
This car won Best Of Show at the Chicago Auto show. I have every picture from the beginning to the end showing the BUCK that was made to shape the stainless over it and create the bends and about 10,000 welds preparing for the buffing and polishing. Look at the pictures and it should answer your questions. READ THE POSTER BOARD IN PICTURE FORMAT FOR ALL SPECIFICS AND DETAIL.
