Description of 1975 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

For sale by private seller is a unique 1975 MB 450SL with just barely 85K actual miles. This is a pretty rare bird and I think will go up in value over the next 5-10 years. Every time I go to car shows I get tons of compliments. Only reason for selling is I have too many toys and need to let this one go.
New in the past couple of years are : Refinished interior top to bottom, refinished soft top, renewed radiator and cooling system parts, brake rotors+pads, new timing chain and tensioners, transmission service, A/C system refurbishments, and minor other wear items. This car was garaged most of it's life and all of the windows moldings and rubber parts are in fantastic shape.
All electronics work as expected and the driveline is both strong and smooth. The V8 turns over very quickly and idles smooth. Get her out on the highway, and she roars very nice when the pedal is depressed all the way. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. A/C blows cold. In really high temperatures it may take a while to kick on. I don't think this car needs anything attended to.
