Description of 1961 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

This is a NO RESERVE Auction. 1961 Mercedes 220B Sedan. 2.2 Liter, Six cylinder, 4-Speed Manual column shift. Extremely straight body with one small dent on left front fender. It still has the original CA Black Plates. No rust bubbles or any indication of Bondo or previous repair. Car was sitting for many years in Central California. Trunk is excellent and floors are decent. We changed wires and plugs and got it running just fine with an external fuel source because we don't know the condition of the inside of the tank. Engine sounds very good and exhaust system is complete and quiet. We did not drive it because brakes will need attention but car rolls and steers. Overall this is a solid candidate for restoration or daily driver. VIN-220B025649.
