Description of 1994 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Westfalia

*Please note this vehicle is not available immediately, this add is created to find a new owner for the van once I leave the country. I expect to be leaving North America in approximately 2-3 weeks. This is not a Volkswagen vanagon!

What am I selling? A Mercedes Benz 310D Westfalia, one of the most reliable old school campervans ever made.

I bought this Mercedes to turn it into my house on wheels for my travels through N-A. It took me over a year to find one in decent shape with the 5-cylinder engine and clean interior. After buying the van I spent over 6 months (starting November 2017) rebuilding the van to a as new condition. List of things done to the van (I am sure I forgot some):

- Rust free

- New insulation

- New wiring

- New professional paint-job

- New flooring

- Newly upholstered interior

- New mattress (extended and foldable)

- New propane gages

- Customs set of beaded car seat covers (old school seat ventilation)

- Custom Oak tables

- New insulation and sound absorption in the cabin.

- Custom ladder and spare wheel holder on the back.

- It’s all in the details, I even replaced all outside screws with stainless-steel screws

- Sand blasted and powder coated rims, these are very rare 15inch original T1 sprinter rims.

- 180W 28" CREE LEDBAR, 12000 lumen

- Had a Bear-lock placed. This locks up the gearbox, protection against theft.

- 5 Michelin extra strong van tires with just +/-8000 miles on them

Before I shipped the van to N-A I had it fully checked by a Mercedes specialist, he replaced every part that would need to be replaced within the next 30k miles. A list of the technical work done in early 2018:

- Gearbox revision

- New radiator

- New brake pads

- Brake lines

- Oil refresh

- Dynamo reserviced

- Will add more detail asap.

Please be advised that there are a number of different engine types on the market, this engine is the most powerful 5-cylinder Mercedes engine with 100hp. This van will take you up any mountain and cruise on the freeway comfortably at 65mph. Driving through lots of different terrains I get an average of 29 miles per gallon. It also has the overdrive manual gearbox, cruise control, abs and power steering. And last but definitely not least it has a diff lock on the rear axle which will get you a long long way up some of the toughest roads.

This is truly a house on wheels, it includes:

- Two beds, (includes, foldable upper bed)

- Oak interior
- Interior height approx. 9ft

- Hot shower (propane boiler)

- Portable toilet

- Absorption fridge

- Waterproof flooring

- 2x burners

- Sink & faucet

- 70 liter (+/- 18,5 gallons) fresh water

- 70 liter (+/- 18,5 gallons) grey water

- 23 liter (6 gallons) fixed propane tank

- Outside kitchen (connects to the fixed propane tank)

- Seating area for 4 (adults)

- Large & small oak table

- Solar panel

- Double USB and 12v charging port

- 2x 120ah AGM battery's (bought 2018)

- 1000W pure sine inverter

- Powered (active) subwoofer + tweeters

- Large awning

- Outside shower

- Lots of storing space

- LED lighting inside

- All windows have fly screens and blackout screens.

- Heating (diesel powered)

- Garmin navigation for N-A

- Tow hook

- Outside power connection (needs to be changed to N-A specs to work)

- It will include, plates, pots pans etc.

- I will include a couple of spear diesel filters.

If you are reading this, you have probably taken the time to read through all the above and are seriously interested in this van. It has always been a dream to own one of these vans and I have put a lot of love and care into making it the best van possible. There is nothing that needs to be done to it, only changes would be personal preference. This is a turnkey buy, ready to see the world!

I will be placing this add on a number of different platforms, please allow me some time to get back to you with any questions since I do not have internet available daily. I will be traveling through Nevada, Utah, Colorado and California the next few months, please send me an email if you would like to schedule an appointment to view the van. I do not have a N-A number, so please send me your number in an email and I will get in touch with you. I wil also help the new owner with any future parts he/she will need.
