Description of 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series 500E

You already know that you're looking at a special car. Yes, the W124 series 500E was hand built in the Porsche factory. Yes, these cars are historically significant and becoming increasingly hard to find in good condition. And yes, this car hails from the pre-merger era of MB history, when AMG was a legitimate independent tuning house.
Although the 500E came with a powerful 5.0 liter V8, AMG stroked these motors out to 6.0 liters for a limited number of E60 models, as well as aftermarket conversions.

Last year we found a collector in Germany who had in the back of his warehouse a New Old Stock AMG 6.0 Liter motor still sitting in it's original crate. After arranging purchase of this motor, it was shipped across the pond to Blueridge MB in Lilburn, Georgia, where is underwent it's heart transplant.
The result is a stunning mid-sized, powerful Merc that oozes the style and confidence of an early 90s Yakuza boss. If you're looking for your grandfather's boring, classic Mercedes, this is not the car for you.
While the motor was being replaced, a significant amount of work was done to maintain and upgrade the rest of the vehicle. These include:
RDM Tech Adjustable Camber Towers (front strut mounts)
AMG OZ 3 Piece Replica Wheels
- 8.5 x 17 et 18 front
- 10.0 x 17 et 17 rear
Ceramic Coated Manifolds
