I have an 1982 380SL in original condition. Original paint is very nice with some crazing. Orig interior which could use some new seatcovers. The dash is orig and in perfect condition. Original stereo. A/C has been converted and works perfectly. Brakes are new. It has both tops. The rag top is in like-new condition. Had a new timing chain installed at 110,000 miles on 9/18/95. (Which I have the receipt for, as well as all kinds of receipts for different things done over the years). In fact, I probably have 50 to 75 receipts from over the last 36 years. The bumpers are in almost mint condition. Headliner on hardtop is in fantastic condition. Only thing missing is a small piece of molding on the bottom of the driver's side front fender. 133,000 original miles. The car was originally purchased in Clearwater, Florida on May 26, 1982. The car has its original tools. Needs new tires. The only rust anywhere on the car is under the passenger's step plate. The rubber between the doors and the hardtop is extremely hard, and I noticed every time I would wash the car water would drip down the inside of the windows. I'm sure that's why it rusted under the passenger's side step plate. The driver's side doesn't look like it's rusting. Other than that this car is rust free. I purchased this car from a local gentleman who's father just passed and had purchased it from the orig owner in 1986. He believed he was the second owner. (Not verified). Overall this car, although not mint, I believe is in better condition than almost any you could find.
