Description of 1988 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series 560SL

This is a great car. Far from perfect, not a show car but man does it gets looks from anyone that sees it. It’s a fun car to drive -very quick - and anyone that knows these cars will be able to keep her looking good and maintaining her mechanically. I have the Red detachable hard top that has been on the car twice. The Convert top is in great shape but does have a small 1” tear behind the drivers side just above the rear window. Top is not a power top, but all mechanicals work to put the top up. I have the top locking tools. The rear window is like new. This was a Florida good weather car. The top looks like new because it was rarely up. Convert Top is Black. 2 original keys. This model the key unlocks and locks all doors and trunk. New Michelin’s all around. Full spare. Original manual. Some of the original tools all come with the car. I do have quite a bit of service records from Tampa MB. This is a 30 year old sports car that has plenty of quirks so trying to be as honest as possible. One day everything works perfectly. The next day a power window won’t go up. Stop and start the car again and the window goes up. Nothing major. I did have to add brake fluid a few months ago but the brakes work perfectly. A/C works but the radio has its days. I have the original Becker radio. I have a car cover and a hard top cover for when it’s stored. The interior as you can see in pics need some tlc. It’s perfectly usable for a daily driver or weekend cruise but not as a show car. This is the 107 model and has the rear fold up bench seat that was available in European models mostly. I’ll help get the car loaded on a shipper of your choice and I can deliver the car within 50 miles of Colbert / Durant Ok or Sherman TX. Thanks for looking.
