Description of 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 380 SL

This is my daughters car that she is selling to help with the start of her new married life. I bought this car with front end damage . It had been checked out by a body shop and the left headlight bucket straitened. there was no other structural damage. The man I bought it from had mounted new fenders and had nearly all the other bits and pieces to put her back together. the aluminum hood and grill were unscathed. As well as the bumper so Im guessing that even though this car is built so sturdy the accident must have been very minor. I replaced both front Rotors pads and just for good measure I replaced the Calipers with OEM parts. there are two new Front shocks. new rear sway bar links (not installed ) And a huge new battery with a Battery Buddy in line to avoid her killing the battery if she left the lights on. Over all this is a great car that is a joy to drive with the hard top on or the soft top up or down. she is so smooth! Ok for the bad there is no spare tire and the paint is not a good mach as it was done in a hurry due to my daughters Subaru self destroying the tail shaft of the transmission on her way home from college over a long weekend. and it currently has an exhaust leak im guessing at the woven flex pipe near the y pipe . I have not seen it . It is sitting at a garage near her mothers in northern Virginia where she took it on a weekend at her mothers. Also rear carpet is sun faded. there is no reserve!! I started the bidding at what her reserve price was.
