1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL17,500 Original MilesPerfect CarafaxPerfect AutocheckPerfect Car! IF YOU WANT THE BEST OF THE BEST...THIS IS IT! Typically, cars of this vintage require lengthy and wordy descriptions...this one does not. I purchased this car from the family of the original owner who was a very promenant Iowa Politician who purchased the car new in December 1989. He paid some $72,000 for the car and passed away in 2003. The car had accumulated some 6,500 miles on it during that time. Always stored in a heated and cooled garage...his son inherited it in 2004. He drove it between Chicago and Iowa regurally in 2003-2004. In 2004 he himself was severely injured and never drove again. He kept the car in impeccable shape between 2004 and his passing in 2009. At that point the car had around 16,000 miles on it. We bought it and completely went through the whole car to make sure it was 100% dispatch ready. It almost seemed to a sin to put miles on it. I think the car has had a whole 1000 miles put on it in that time. Don't let that fool you though. The car is 100% serviced...issue and basically blemish free. No Leaks...No squeaks... Autocheck states 4 owners...three were the same family... I have the maintenance book...which honestly don't have a whole lot in it...it just does not have any miles on it. I have the books, manuals...3 keys. I have the window sticker "somewhere"...I've got to find it...no promises. The car has zero corrosion and is as nice as physically possible for a 29 year old car. Zero paint work. Stickers on all suspension components...vin stickers on every panel......042-.045 paint thickness throughout. I have the Mercedes MVR or Master Vehicle Record...with service history and such...hard to get these days! I don't want to talk about wear or defects...theres none of that to talk about.
