Description of 1989 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series W126 lwb

I am selling my very clean 1989 420SEL. Last year, the timing chain guide rail failed while driving, which required both of the cylinder heads to be removed. As a result, the top end of the engine has been refreshed with new valves, guides, and valve seals and does not consume or leak a drop of oil. All injectors were cleaned and which results in a very smooth idle.

The car starts and drives well, and after the photos were taken, I had 4 brand new tires installed since the tires in the photo were beginning to crack. It idles at 600-650 rpm and glides into reverse and drive, just like these classic Mercedes are known for. The windows and sunroof work, as do the heat and air conditioning.
There are some blemishes in the paint, the most noticeable is on the hood. But all in all, the paint shows well for being 30 years old.
