Description of 1983 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class AMG

RARE 1983 import 280SL AMG - 5-speed
Third owner, I bought from a little old lady from Pasadena... She was the 2nd owner for 30 YRS+/- resulting in minimum wear on seat, she had been driving it since 1987 have copies of receipt and all work done at the specialty shop Lomita 911 in Torrance since the early 2000 to 2017 when I acquired it and I have put 1000 miles +/- since then.
Car runs great and is a lot of fun as any reliable convertible with the prestige of AMG Mercedes Benz. Custom AMG Wheels and Bumpers, and the pleasure of a stick shift so rare to find a manual Mercedes Benz SL.
Car has always been garage and used to do a 30 miles daily commute for 30yrs.
The hard top as seen in pictures is included with it and it's carrying dolly.
The black canvas top is original and the lady did not remember the last time she had removed the hard top, there are a 4 points of fatigue with small tears see pictures, the functioning of the soft top is correct and the tool is included.
The dashboard has cracks, nothing a proper fitted cover won't hide.
All the chrome (plastic) on side of seats are complete.
The AC has been disconnected.
