Description of 1994 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

1994 Mercedes Benz E320

81,422 Miles

What it Is: This is my father's 1994 Mercedes Benz E320 Coupe. It has extremely low mileage and is ready to drive anywhere. I am listing this vehicle for my father who is 87 years young!

What's the Story? : Dad is a "car guy" and has numerous German-made sedans and coupes over the decades. The first one I can recall as a kid was 1963 Porsche 356 S. In any event, several years ago my dad got the itch for a MB E320 Coupe and found this little gem. The last of "hand built" MB's ! There is a lot on-line about these rare MBs, including this:

Mercedes-Benz USA's E-Class sales records don't break out individual body styles, but one source puts 1991's 300 CE Coupe sales figure at 1,302 units, the 1993 Coupe/Cabriolet at 891/593 units respectively, and ditto for 1994's 1,530/595 and 1995's 1,798 and 322.These were expensive, low-production cars, and yet thanks to their inherent quality, they enjoy a high survival rate. Being based on the globally popular, immensely proven 124 (nearly 2.74 million variants built!) means that the Coupe's and Cabriolet's mechanicals hold no mystery. They date back to a time when Mercedes-Benz engineered many components to be serviceable. Mercedes-Benz Classic Center spokesman Constantin von Kageneck says, "Most mechanical parts are available, while others, such as interior trim, are not as broadly available. It's always worth checking for specific parts availability, as Mercedes-Benz actively manages the classic parts catalog." Combining efficient, ageless design and a distinctly German take on luxury, the 124 Coupe and Cabriolet are among the Mercedes-Benzes that could truly be considered heirloom-quality. They remain practical for everyday use, and are undoubtedly "youngtimer" classic cars that will be cherished in the future.

Condition: Overall, the condition is excellent. The mileage is only 81,422 and it's clear the car has been garaged it's entire life. The leather interior of the car is superb. It appears nearly new. There is a single blemish (scratch or wear mark) on the center arm rest, which I have shown in pictures. The dash has not a single blemish. The glass is original and perfect. Mechanically, the car is terrific. It's fast, steers and handles like an MB should. No surprises mechanically. The A/C blows cold and everything works as it should. I know of nothing that needs to be repaired. The tires are fine and have another 20k miles, or so to go.

What You Get: You get the car, the owner's manual, 2 keys an, a Bill of Sale and a clear title. The car is located in Canon City, Colorado (81212) and the closest real airport is Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Terms: Full payment will need to clear the bank, before the car will be released. Payment needs to be made by Cashier's Check, following PayPal deposit. The car is garaged at my parents' home and can remain there until you make travel or shipping arrangements. If you ship the car, you are responsible for that, but my dad will fully cooperate with any shipper you choose. The car for sale locally too.

Questions? : Please direct all questions through eBay. If you'd like discuss the car, that's fine...just leave me your phone number and I will call you to discuss.

Hi There......

I wanted to address several questions I have received regarding the Mercedes Benz.
1. The car has been repainted the original Moss Green Poly (I believe that's color). The paint is free of door dings, scratched, or blemishes. It shines nicely and it is obvious it has been protected from the sun.
2. The car does not need anything that I know of mechanically, and all works as it should. Cosmetically, the interior could use a good cleaning. The is a wear spot on the armrest that could use something. I am not quite sure how that leather is re-stained, dyed, or painted.
3. The tires will go another 15-20K miles, but the car looks so good, I would put new tires on it or clean them really well.
