Description of 1988 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series

1988 Mercedes 560 SEC
Garage kept since new and currently showing 62K miles
I am listing this Mercedes for an estate - the gentlemen that owned this has passed away - I went and picked up the car from his garage a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure that it had been sitting for about a year from the best that I could tell - I had to put in a battery and fresh gas and it started immediately. There are zero leaks underneath and there was not any on the floor where it was parked.
I am selling this car as is - we had originally decided to fix and or make any all repairs needed but decided to let the end user make those decisions.
The Mercedes runs and drives great, motor is smooth, transmission shifts perfectly, brakes are great, and ride is fantastic.
The power windows, locks, cruise, heated and power seats, radio, sunroof, electric seat belts, gauges all work as they should.
I have personally washed the Mercedes and there are zero leaks around the windows or sunroof.
The problems that I have noticed in the 30 miles or so that I have driven the car are the following and again we decided not to repair not knowing what the end user might want to do:
AC is not blowing coldWill need tires - current hold air, but are old and do show some signs of age in the tread
The wheels need to be restored also as the finish is coming off as noted
After I picked up the car, as I was filling the tank with fresh 91 octane (pure gas) I reset the trip odometer, after that, the odometer is not working or recording miles, the speed-o-meter, tachometer, temp etc works perfectly
The car has not been detailed - it has not been buffed or polished, it looks great now and it has potential to look even better
There are a few light blemishes on the exterior, scratches from the car parked next to it in the garage etc (very light)
The inside has been vacuumed and dusted of course, but stains have not been treated or anything light that
The gentleman that owned this had a gas and brake controller rigged so that he could drive it without any legs - there are some holes drilled/cut in the lower knee panel from that arrangement. It will need to be repaired or replaced. The front of the center back seat area shows some damage from the elderly mans walking stick being stored while driving
