1979 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 450SLC.Clean title in my name ready to be yours. Iâ€™m the third owner of this beautiful piece of history in ivory white exterior and tobacco brown interior. This is a very solid car with lots of recent maintenance (see pic of some receipts) and has always been garage kept by previous owners and myself. Has never failed to start and has lots of life in it. Selling because I need a pickup truck now so no more room for this beauty. Must be seen and driven to be appreciated! Pros: Excellent mechanical conditionOriginal drivers manuals and unused first aid kit over 40 years old! I think that's cool. All windows work perfectly, including the two small rear ones for a complete windowless experience.Dash is not cracked and perfectFull spare tire with equipmentOriginal Heat and AC workInterior is immaculate; no rips or tears in seats
As beautiful as this classic Mercedes is, it's 41 years old and I wish to be transparent about its Cons(see pics):Driver side headlight bubbling but is contained.Passenger side window â€œcurtainsâ€ are flaking from old age.RPM gauge doesnâ€™t work but who really cares about that... All other gauges work.The sunroof requires a little hand assist after the halfway point but is still fully functional.
