Description of 1977 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300d w123

No reserve!!!This beautiful and rare 1977 Mercedes 300D has incredibly low miles (124,xxx) and it is in great condition mechanically and aesthetically. Garage kept, non smoker and mostly original. The paint has a beautiful deep gloss; it is very evident this car has spent it’s life in the garage. This is NOT a car that was just detailed, this is how this car was always kept from top to bottom, (but yet this car holds a salvage title due to a small dent in the rear corner as it can be seen in the pictures). All electrical options including power windows, power mirror, power radio antenna with its two options all working properly. Also all vacuum door locks in proper working condition. The engine is very quiet for a Diesel engine (according to a Mercedes specialist) transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The rims look great (not faded or damaged like most cars this age have) tires and brakes are in good condition and I cannot think of anything off the top of my head that the car needs (but yet still holds a salvage title) The car has the better engine 5 cylinder and not the underpowered 240D engine many of them have, nothing against them. This particular 300D it is pretty peppy. Also, this car came equipped with leather seats (not MB TEX) and shows some signs of wear as to be expected from a 43 year old car, seats still firm and offer good support. The dashboard is in perfect condition with no cracks. The carpet, door panels and even the material that covers the weather strips (which most cars don’t even have it anymore) are still intact (yet this car still holds a salvage title). This car runs strong, shifts smoothly with no slipping or excessively hard shifts, and is in great cosmetic condition. This is the needle in the haystack, a true “NO Disappointment car. Please call me with any questions, or to set up a mutually convenient time to see and drive the car at 31O. 437. 3372
The reason I intentionally mentioned multiple times the car has a salvage title is to be clearly understood by the reader so there won’t be any confusion and also for comedic purposes since this car looks better than most non salvage titled cars, it was mentioned after every compliment, ironically.
Please note this is a 43 year old car and it might have minor scratches or dings as you can see in the pictures. Please ask all questions before bidding and bid responsibly.Thank you, Good Luck and stay well!!!
