1972 Mercedes-Benz 220D, 4-speed manual transmission

Old Diesel Mercedes. Engine runs in good condition without excessive oil consumption. Vehicle condition is consistent with age. Clutch is currently inoperable due to a failed slave cylinder.

Body is rusty; most noticeably in the floor pans, rear passenger-side quarter panel, and rear passenger-side door. Replacement floor pans and rear quarter panel come with the car. See photos.

Interior is in OK condition (see photos). Headliner is good with no rips, tears, or sagging. All glass is intact. Windows are crank-operated and roll up and down correctly. All gauges, including the odometer, function correctly except for the dashboard clock. The odometer has five digits and has rolled over in the past. Vehicle mileage is thus considered to be beyond mechanical limits.

This vehicle comes with full stainless exhaust from the header to the muffler and tailpipe. The vehicle also features aluminum alloy wheels with stainless steel covers. Tires are about 5 years old and have good tread. Spare parts in the trunk are included with the vehicle.
This vehicle is good for restoration, parts, or repair. I would keep it but I have too many cars and need more space.
